Сейчас установила себе НВН в переводе, якобы, Фаргуса. Нет, это еще не HoU - это SoU. Один из самых худших переводов, которые мне встречались. Более-менее можно понять то, что там написано по-русски, только зная английский. Переводишь с русского на английский и... понятно :)
Экземпляры перевода - Сундук карликов (очевидно, так сослепу перевели Drawer Chest). Нежить переводят то как "бессмертные", то "немертвые", то "не живые", то "не умершие"... и еще парочка вариантов, которые не вспомню сейчас.
Имена ВЕЗДЕ по-разному... Калемдил (примерное имя, точно не помню) оказывается Селемдилом в другом месте.

В NWN SOU от непонятной конторы Торум (обложка на диске - закос под 1С) перлы перевода начались уже с первой комнаты, как только начал знакомиться с "сокамерниками", угадывал методом тыка, с какого раза в красивый вариант попаду, так что в разночтение имен - это еще не так страшно.

Банальный факел был в инвентаре вовсе не факел, а звался "Прикосновение"

Думаю все очевидно...Без пол-литра явно не обошлось у горе-переводчиков

В моем самом первом БГ это звучало как "Ожить"... Я очень долго не могла понять, что это такое...

А еще рычаг двери (Door Lever) переведен как "Уровень пола" (Floor level, насколько я понимаю) - это ж сколько надо было выпить...

При том, местами (редкими) перевод просто замечательный - даже литературный!

В IWD-1 заклинание Turn Undead переводилось как "перевернуть мертвого" (может оживить - думал я). Я, когда играл, даже пытался оживить своих с его помощью...

:) А я сама поначалу пыталась "Ожить" с помощью этого... Думала, если этот режим включен, то, если перс умрет, то он оживет... :)))))

А еще недавно одно и то же имя было передано тремя различными способами: Ярек, Джарек и Йхарек. :) Первые два - еще ладно, но третий вариант...

Интересно, заклинание Cast Bark Skin переводится как "содрать шкуру" (М-да). К чему бы это? :-)
