This a mini-mod for BG1 and BG1Tutu, adding approx. 10 min of gameplay. It was my submission for the Black Wyrm Forums Modding Contest, although it was heavily revised in the meantime. This quest will be part of the BG1 Questpack.

The mod adds a quest located in Beregost. If you pass one of the houses in the north-west, a woman dressed in red should approach you. There are some strange things going on in the house of her neighbour and she wants your help...

INSTALLATION

Make sure you backup your dialog.tlk (and dialogf.tlk, if existing) - just to be sure. Extract the contents of the archive to your Game's main directory (Baldur's Gate or BG1Tutu, the setup will automatically recognize to which one the mod will be installed). Run the Setup-SlimeQuest_jastey.exe. Choose the language and confirm installation. This should extract all needed files to the override folder. You don't have to start a new game to play the modification, but your savegame shouldn't be inside one of the used houses: not inside the tavern "Red Sheaf" and not inside the small house in the North-East of the town (house no "7" in Dudleyville's walkthrough, www.dudleyville.com/bg1/ar3300.htm), otherwise the changes won't take place.

If you have installation problems or encounter any bugs, please contact me via the above email or post it in the Black Wyrm Forums (http://forums.blackwyrmlair.net) for English and by Rosenranken-Forum (http://www.rosenranken.de/) for German installation.

The Slime Quest Mini-Modification is coded using WeiDU vers. 163 so there should be no compatibility problems with other (WeiDU) mods.

I want to thank all that helped me, mainly by Rosenranken and Black Wyrm Forums, without some of the information I wouldn't have been able to finish this mod.

Have fun playing this mini-quest mod!
